Students Rally Around Haiti
A couple of days ago the entire class had identified the cause of their choice as a requirement for our class. Their level of participation would result in a contest that would crown a winner and in turn send a donation that organization. You can read the full post again here.
The recent disaster in Haiti has provoked the students into combining their efforts to raise awareness and money to aid two organizations serving the people of Haiti.
Today’s class was spent on identifying those organizations and working through a grassroots campaign strategy to get their circle of influences involved.
It just happened that there was a concert on campus tonight called J-Term Jam that could be a launching platform for the cause and campaign the students will be managing and facilitating through the weekend on campus and in the community.

If you would like to support the students efforts and respond personally to the devastation, the students have decided on these two organization as the ones they feel could respond accordingly. The students belief that clean water and supporting alumni in their efforts on the ground in Haiti are two worthy efforts to be supported. Regardless of who you support, you efforts are needed.
